Dear Maya! As usual, I enjoyed your presentation. I loved the philosophy your were communicating, I wish it was our reality in schools!
Let me comment on the criteria:
1. Structure: you talked about all the points stated in the plan of the project and elaborated on them with details. The only thing I would add is linkers like First, Second… to make it easier to follow. Other than that, it was really interesting to listen to you. You did include some transitions like “The most important thing is..”, so that’s great! 5/5
2. Visual presentation: I liked the pictures, your presentation doesn’t need to be something extra. SOmetimes images are more powerful. Thank you for that! 5/5
3. Fluency and the use of vocabulary: you speak eloquently and it’s effortless to understand you. I liked a lot of vocabulary that you used: soak up information, one-size-fits-all, embrace information. I also appreciate the fact that you caught the vocabulary from the block that Ivan was using — you are a great listener and very attentive when it comes to these things! 5/5
4. Grammar: here it was obviously challenging to use the new grammar, but I did notice how focused you were when we were practicing the reported speech later. Even though the questions you guys chose were challening, you did a great job transforming them. The only nitpicky thing I have about the grammar used in the project concerns -ed and -ing endings: I’m not interesting and I’m not interested have different meanings, don’t they? 🙂 Still, your use of grammar didn’t cause any misunderstandings for me, so 5/5
Again, your presentation was extremely insightful and refreshing. I hope that one day schools will look like that, I hope it will happen while we are still alive and well 🙂
